Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 24, 2026. Last changed: October 6, 2026. This policy explains, in plain words, what Aion Personal Training (Aion Training LLC) collects on www.aiontraining.com, why, who else receives it, and the choices you have. It also explains one list of current members that we send to Meta (section 4).
Here for training rather than the small print?
1. What this policy covers
This policy covers this website. It does not cover the booking portal, our member app, our social media pages, or other sites we link to. Those have their own policies.
One part of this policy is about our members and not about this website. Section 4 explains a list of current members that we send to Meta.
2. What we collect
Information you type into a form:
- Your first name, email address and phone number, and the studio you pick (Pasadena or Eagle Rock).
- On our referral pages, the name of the person who sent you. On one gift page, a certificate code if you have one.
Information our marketing partner ADSU records before you press submit. If you start typing into one of our forms and then leave without sending it, ADSU can still record what you typed (for example your name, email or phone) as a "partial" entry. We may contact you about it.
Information that comes with your visit:
- Your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the page that sent you here.
- Ad details in the link you arrived on, such as utm tags and ad click IDs (for example Google's gclid or Meta's fbclid), the first page you landed on, and the date. We send these with your form so we know which ad or page brought you in.
Cookies and similar storage. These are small files or entries saved in your browser:
- Ours: your studio choice (1 year), where your visit came from (30 days), whether you closed a popup, your privacy choice (1 year), and a short-lived note that lets the thank-you page confirm your form was sent.
- Third parties: Google, Meta and ADSU set their own cookies and identifiers when their tags load (see section 4).
We do not ask for payment details, your age, your health history or any other sensitive information on this website.
3. Why we collect it
- To reply to you: a coach from the studio you picked calls, texts or emails you about the consultation or offer you asked for.
- To know which ads and pages bring people in, so we spend our ad budget where it works.
- To show our ads to people who visited this site, and to count the form fills and calls that came from an ad.
- To count visits and see which pages help, so we can improve the site.
- For current members only: to keep our ads away from people who already train with us, and to help Meta find people similar to our members (see section 4).
- To keep the forms working and stop spam. We use your IP address to limit repeated submissions.
You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
4. Who else receives it
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do use the companies below. Some of them are advertising services, and California law can treat letting their tags collect data on our site as "selling" or "sharing" your information. The opt-out button and GPC turn those tags off in your browser. One item below, the member list, is not a tag, and a member asks us directly to be left off it. Section 7 explains both.
- Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager. Counts visits and page views. It uses cookies and your IP address.
- Google Ads. Records visits for our ads and counts form fills and phone clicks from ads. When you send a form, your email and phone number go to Google in a scrambled (hashed) form so Google can match the lead to an ad click.
- GoHighLevel. Our customer records system. Everything you send in a form, plus the ad details above, is saved here, and we use it to contact you.
- GoHighLevel review widget. The members page shows our Google reviews in a box that loads from GoHighLevel's servers, which see your IP address and browser details when it loads. It is not an ad tag.
- ADSU (track.aiontraining.com). Our marketing and ad tracking partner. It records the pages you view, where you came from, a visitor ID cookie, and form entries, including partial entries before you press submit.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram). The Meta pixel runs through Google Tag Manager. It uses cookies and your IP address. It records the pages you view, with each page's address, title and description, so we can show our ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who visited this site. It can also record the buttons you click and form activity on the page. When you send a form, it gets a lead event so Meta can count the form fills that came from an ad. When you fill in or send a form, your name, email and phone number can go to Meta in a scrambled (hashed) form so Meta can match the lead to an ad.
- Meta, member list. This one does not come from this website. Once a month we send Meta a list of our current members, including members on hold. The list holds only each member's email address and phone number, and we scramble (hash) them before we send them. Meta compares them with its own accounts to find a match. We ask Meta to use the list for two things: to keep our ads away from current members, and to find people similar to our members so we can show our ads to them. Each month the new list replaces the old one. People who cancel leave the list at that next monthly replacement, and new members enter it. California law can treat this as "sharing" your information. If you are a member and want to be left off the list, see section 7.
- Google Maps and YouTube. The maps at the bottom of each page are Google Maps, and Google may set cookies when a map loads. A video loads YouTube only when you press play.
- Our website host, Vercel, which keeps standard server logs that include IP addresses.
- Vercel Web Analytics. Counts page views and form submissions without cookies. It records the page, the page that sent you here, your country, your device type, and your browser and operating system. It does not record your name, email or phone number. It is not an ad tag.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people or our business, or as part of selling or merging the business.
5. Tracking across other sites
Google, Meta, ADSU and other third parties whose tags run on this site may collect information about your activity on this site and on other websites and apps over time. We do not control what those companies do with it. Their own privacy policies apply.
6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
This site honors Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser or a browser extension sends the GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of selling and sharing by the tags on this site, in that browser. The Google Ads, Meta and ADSU tags do not load, and Google is told not to use advertising storage.
GPC works in your browser. It does not take a member off the member list in section 4. A member asks us directly for that (see section 7).
This site does not respond to the older "Do Not Track" browser setting. There is no common standard for it, so we honor GPC instead.
7. Your choices
- Opt out of selling and sharing by the tags on this site: use the button on Your Privacy Choices, or turn on GPC in your browser. This stops the tags in this browser. It does not take a member off the member list (see the Members line below). Your choice is saved in this browser only, so repeat it on each browser and device you use. If you clear your cookies, set it again.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works, but it will not remember your studio.
- Ask us to stop calling, texting or emailing you.
- Members: ask us to leave you off the member list we send to Meta (see section 4). Email hello@aiontraining.com or call (626) 382-7600, and we will keep you off the list. You are left off from the next monthly list, so it can take up to about a month to take effect at Meta. The opt-out button and GPC do not do this. They control the tags in one browser, and they do not tell us which member you are.
Our members pages never load the Google Ads, Meta or ADSU tags, whatever you choose.
8. Your California rights
If you live in California, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we have about you, where it came from, and who we shared it with;
- delete it;
- correct it;
- stop selling or sharing it (see section 7: the button and GPC stop the tags in one browser, and a member asks us directly to be left off the member list).
To ask, email hello@aiontraining.com or call (626) 382-7600. We will confirm who you are before we act, and we will reply within 45 days. Someone you authorize can ask for you. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
9. How long we keep it
We keep lead and contact records for as long as we need them to reply to you, run the studios and meet our legal duties, and then we delete them. The cookies we set expire on the schedule in section 2. Each monthly member list (section 4) replaces the one before it at Meta, and Meta keeps data under its own policies. Other third parties keep data under their own policies.
10. Security
Forms are sent over an encrypted connection, and our system passwords and keys are kept out of the website code. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise that information will never be lost or misused.
11. Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you think we have, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. This version took effect on September 24, 2026 and was last changed on October 6, 2026.
